Description

One of the only true white Alstroemeria.  They form dense clumps of spreading leaves that are taller than most other cultivars.  Growing up to 48" tall and 36" wide, its large white flowers are flushed with pink on the back and maroon markings on the flower face.  It is a strong grower with numerous bloom on sturdy stems.  It blooms all summer.  This bulb can be grown as an annual in cooler zones, or as a perennial in more temperate zones.  When planted in the ground, the bulbs can be lifted from the garden in the fall and stored in a cool, dark environment for replanting in the spring.  Container gardening is also a means of enjoying the beautiful blooms for many years.  Bring containers indoors and place in a sunny location.  Water moderately through the indoor months.

This is a variety of Alstroemeria among many that have become a favorite of floral designers.  Its stiff stems and beautiful long-lasting blooms have contributed to its popularity.

This variety of Alstroemeria is resistant to verticillium wilt.

Insects, Diseases and Other Plant Problems:  There are no serious problems that affect this plant.  Slugs and snails may damage the foliage.  Spider mites may also cause damage.
