The Moonglow pear tree is resistant to Fire Blight and can bear fruits for many years. It has a vigorous growth habit. Needs at least two cultivars to ensure adequate pollination.

The showy, fragrant white flower blooms early in the spring.

Full-sun. Loamy and well drained soil with a pH of 6.0-7.0.
Edibility:
It produces medium to large sized, Bartlett-shaped yellow to red fruit. The white flesh is soft and moderate juicy with almost no grit cells. Ripens in early to mid August, a week before Bartlett.
