Other Common Name(s):

Phonetic Spelling

Description

This cultivar is no longer readily available from commercial sources.

Rosa 'MELbonrib' makes an excellent ground cover for slopes due to its low creeping habit and 5-foot spread.  Blooming continuously from spring to frost with a Lily of the Valley fragrance its clusters of double pink flowers and high gloss dark green leaves add color and texture to your garden.  Low maintenance, vigorous growth, and a showy presence all add to the attractiveness of this specimen.

Pruning can be accomplished in early spring, after the last frost.  Caution should be used due to the thorns.

Its dense spreading habit will help to smother out unwanted weeds.

Insects, Diseases, and Other Plant Problems:  Highly disease resistant.
