Description

A showy perennial bulb in the Liliaceae family that is native to China, Tibet and Burma. They have scaly bulbs and leafy stems. Coming from areas with cold dry winters and summer rainfall, they bloom in summer. The flowers are very beautiful. 

This plant grows best in AM Sun to 25% shade.  Plant bulbs 6 in. (15 cm) deep and space 12 in. apart. Dislikes being disturbed once planted and division of bulbs is not recommended.
