Description

Snow Princess® alyssum is a vigorous hybrid, low-growing annual or perennial that is a cross between Lobularia canariensis and Lobularia maritima. It has a mounding spreading form and produces abundant blooms with tiny white fragrant flowers from spring into fall. This hybrid is tolerant of hot southern summer temperatures and does well in hanging baskets, where it may droop for several feet, or cascading over a rock wall. 

Snow Princess® alyssum is winter hardy perennial in USDA Zones 10-11, but is typically grown as an annual in zones north of zone 10. The plant does well in average, medium to moist, well-drained soils in full sun. Purchased plants should be set out at the last frost date. It tolerates high summer temperatures with afternoon shade in hot weather. Provide consistent watering (daily in hot weather) and regular fertilization. This is a patented, sterile plant.
