Description

Mountain Bushy St. John's-wort Is a native shrub found in bogs, streambanks, dry to moist forests, rock outcrops, moist forests, and pine savannas. In NC it is found in all areas but is rare in the Piedmont. It has a dense twiggy form growing up to 4 feet tall and 5 feet wide and is deciduous to semi-evergreen.

It is adaptable to soil types and does well in sun to partial shade. Use in the shrub border, as a low hedge or native garden.
