Buxus microphylla = B. sinca, commonly called Littleleaf Boxwood is drought tolerant.  It is easy to transplant due to its shallow roots.  Its flowers are attractive to bees.

'Compacta' is useful for a low hedge. This plant is resistant to damage by deer.
