Description

This species is both male and female and is pollinated by insects.  It is attractive to hummingbirds and other pollinators.

Protect from high winds and do not over-fertilize.  It is an aggressive plant that will self-sow, may naturalize in some areas.  It is considered invasive in parts of the southeast.  It can be found growing on roadside and wastelands.
