Vegetable Garden and Pollinator Plants

This vegetable garden has pollinator plants planted in front of it and also among the vegetables. This interplanting method increases pollinator activity which in turn increases the vegetable yield. At the base of the tomatoes are fragrant basil plants and brightly colored marigolds are situated near the winter squash. Planted in the front bed are various pollinator-attracting blooms as Agastache, Monardas, Rudbeckia, Liatris, and Stokesia asters.
