Description

The Extension Master Gardener volunteers of Davidson County have designed, planted, and maintained the demonstration garden at the agricultural center for over fifteen years. The garden is open to the public and many of the plants are labeled.

The garden has several purposes, it presents new plants to the public, it provides a sanctuary for pollinators, and it demonstrates plants that thrive in a variety of growing conditions. There is a hot and dry no irrigation area, a shade area, a head high planter and a lush sun area.

The agriculture center is located in a historic school building situated on a main street. The colorful garden is appreciated by many people passing it daily.
