Ligularia is grown for its imposing spires of bright yellow flowers. 'The Rocket' is a cultivar known for its more compact, 18-24" tall spires of lemon yellow flowers. Ligularia will not tolerate hot midday sun, when the leaves wilt. Prefers light to afternoon shade as well as moist, rich soil.
