Description

Hybrid crosses between the species A. fastuosa and A. venusta. Tender perennials grown as annuals.  Genus name comes from the Greek words arktos meaning a bear and ous or otos meaning an ear.

This plant is grown in full sun and sandy, well-drained soil.  Overly moist soils can lead to root or stem rot.  Use in beds, borders, or large containers. Tolerates drought.  Plant 12" apart.
